How cute is this for a salad! The perfect festive addition to that looks great with minimal effort. This makes 1-2 candy canes depending how big you make them but you can make as many as you like. This would go great on a charcuterie board too
Ingredients
1-2 Mini tomatoes or cherry
1-2 Cherry Bocconcini
4 Basil Leaves
Directions
Cut your bocconcini and tomatoes into slices you want them in slices so you can stack them
Start to arrange on your platter or plate in the shape of a candy cane. start with a bocconcini and then a tomato slice. You want to alternate between the 2. I went from top down and started with a slight curve then into the straight line. Don't worry if it doesn't look perfect or like a candy cane shape you can easily move it once you have placed all the pieces down
Add some small basil leaves on the outside
Pop some Balsamic in a small serving dish and your done
