Ingredients
-
Your favourite block of chocolate it can be milk, white or dark
-
Christmas m&ms
-
Pretzels
-
Edible Eyes
-
Christmas Sprinkles
Directions
Melt your chocolate in the microwave in 30 second bursts, mixing well in between each burst
Pop some baking paper onto either a cookie tray or even a chopping board (so that once you have made this you can move it easily)
Spread your chocolate over the baking paper, make as even as possible but it doesn't need to be perfect. I made mine into a square shape but again it doesn't have to be perfect
Break up your pretzels and get 2 curved pieces to make the ears, pop onto the chocolate with about 1cm between the 2 ears starting at the top and moving your way down, depending on how many reindeers you want to make will depend how close together you put them the closer each reindeers are the smaller they will be
Add 2 edible eyes underneath the ears
Then add the reindeer nose, I used the red m&ms but you can mix it up and use the green too
Add the sprinkles, you can just drop them over the top since the chocolate is melted you don't need to push them in. Pop as many as you like all over the chocolate, I mean you can never have too many sprinkles can you. I got mine from my business Bake it by Giovannellis
Leave it to harden back up for a few hours or pop it into the fridge for about 15 minutes or until it is hard, if you are in the hot summer we are having here in Australia you may need it in the fridge to harden back up completely if it is really hot and humid inside.
Once it is hard use a sharp knife to cut it into reindeer squares, they won't be perfect squares but that's ok it adds to the bark look and they still look adorable

Recipe Note
- Once you make this you can store it in an airtight container, if it is really hot inside you can refrigerate it if needed
- If you can't find Christmas M&Ms then you can use smarties or Jaffa's etc anything circle and red, even raspberries could work well
- I used a silicone spatula to spread this out and it works really well but you can use the back of a spoon or knife as well
