Now this is my kind of trifle! The lotus and brownies are a match made in heaven
Ingredients
-
Chocolate Brownies Chopped into small pieces. I used my Bake it by Giovannellis Brownies Baking Mix
-
250g of cream
-
A good spoonful of Lotus Biscoff smooth spread
-
4 Lotus biscoff biscuits 2 crushed 2 for the top
Directions
Start by adding a spoonful (see notes) of biscoff into your cream and mix until it is smooth and stiff peaks. If it looks funny at the start don't worry the biscoff mixes in perfectly
Once mixed start layering your dessert, add a layer of brownies, I chopped them into pieces to make it easier. Then a layer of biscoff cream, some crushed lotus biscoff biscuits and repeat. I did 2 layers in mine but depending how big your cup is or if your making a share size you may have more
Melt a spoon of biscoff in the microwave this only takes about 20 seconds at the most. You just want it a little runnier so you can drizzle it over the top of the trifle
Add a lotus biscoff biscuit in the top and your done. These will last a few days in the fridge once made but as it is cream make sure it is covered correctly and eat within a couple of days for the best freshness

@_ashleysplace_ THIS IS SOOOO GOOD! Lotus Biscoff Brownie trifle 🤤🤤 This isn’t a traditional trifle but the flavour combo is just delicious 😋 and individual serves are so good 😍 12 recipes of Christmas: Recipe 8 Lotus Biscoff brownie trifle The combination of the Lotus Biscoff cream, and the richness of the brownies go together perfectly. It’s not too sweet and and the flavours just work so well What do you need: 🎁 Brownies I of course used my @bakeitbygiovannellis Brownies Baking Mix. The high quality cocoa we use really adds a delicious flavour to this dessert 😍 🎁 Lotus Biscoff biscuits & smooth spread 🎁 Thickened cream or Heavy Cream in the states How to make it: 🎁 Add a spoonful of Biscoff to your cream, I made a small batch so just use a good heaps teaspoon but if you’re making a bigger batch or multiple, I would use a tablespoon to about 500 g of cream. But my tip always adding flavors to start off small and add more. You can always add more of the Biscoff, but you can’t take it out. 🎁 whisk those two together to cream is nice and thick Don’t worry if it looks a bit funny at the start, it will come together. 🎁 cut up your brownies into small squares and place those on the bottom of your glass 🎁 then add a layer of cream 🎁 crush up some Biscoff biscuit and add on top of the cream. Then repeat until you all the way to the top. I did about two layers of each, but this will depend on how big your container or glasses. And that’s it. This is such an easy one to make and it is absolutely delicious. Let me know if you make it for Christmas this year and if you have any questions. Recipe Note
- A good rule for adding in lotus spread to the cream is always start with less, you can always add more but you can't take it out. So start with a good spoonful and if you want more add more after. Remember it is with brownies and biscuits so you don't want it too overpowering
- This will make 2 big glasses but you could easily make more by putting it in a smaller glass
