Affogatos are absolutely delicious and such an easy after dinner dessert that takes no time at all, they are also absolutely delicious as an afternoon snack. They only take 2 ingredients to make and super quick.

Such a easy after dinner dessert or afternoon pick me up
Ingredients

1 scoop of Vanilla Ice cream

1 Shot of espresso coffee
Directions
Scoop in your ice-cream into a small glass. You can have as much as you like really, if you want a small one do 1 scoop if you want one a little bigger add a second scoop
Brew your coffee, i have a coffee machine so I make an espresso with this but you could do it from a nespresso machine, or moka coffee pot. I haven't ever tried it with instant but if you like it then give it a go. Depending how much ice cream I add I usually do 1 shot but if its 2 scoops I will add 2 shots
Pour your coffee over your ice cream and eat right away. It melts so only pour the coffee over when you are ready to eat it

Recipe Note
- if you are serving this for dessert at a dinner party scoop your ice cream in and then add your coffee at the table. This way it doesn't melt while you are trying to finish everyone's off.
- This is usually served with a shot of liqueur as well but I personally just love it with coffee and ice cream
- Typically you use Vanilla Ice cream but you could use one with caramel or chocolate swirls and you could add some nuts or chocolate on top as well.
