Such a delicious Toastie Sandwich to mix up your lunches
Ingredients
- 🥪 1 Panini Di Casa roll or 2 pieces of bread
- 🥪 3 - 4 slices of mozzarella i slice my own
- 🥪 1 tbsp of basil pesto
- 🥪 4 slices of tomato
- 🥪 A drizzle of balsamic vinegar
- 🥪 Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions
🥪 Either Butter 2 Pieces of bread which will become the outside or i used a panini di casa roll for mine and didn’t butter the outsides as it went in the toasty maker as the bread was too thick for a pan
- 🥪 Add basil pesto on the inside bread on 1 side
- 🥪 Add Mozzarella on the other side, tomatoes, salt & pepper. I would also add the balsamic last next time not before unless it is thick.
- 🥪 Add to a sandwich press since its quite a thicker bread it won’t cook properly in the fry pan and the cheese won’t melt as well.
- 🥪 Add some balsamic and enjoy

Recipe Note
- If you have a thicker piece of bread like mine I would use the sandwich press. If your bread is too thick and you use the fry pan your cheese won't melt properly
- I would add the balsamic after unless it's a much thicker one as it will likely melt off a bit if it's a thinner balsamic
