These are such a great one for school lunchboxes and such a delicious twist for a lunch or snack option

160g of passata

1/2 tsp of oregano

A squeeze of lemon juice
-
A sprig of rosemary
-
Dash of salt & pepper to taste
-
Grate about 1 cup of mozzarella

If your not using cupcake liners then melt 1tbs of butter till just melted add a sprig of rosemary & some garlic skip if your using the cupcake liners
Directions
Preheat oven to 180c
Mix your Herbs, lemon juice and passata together, chop your salami and grate your mozzarella
To assemble I rolled 12 pieces of dough into small balls first to make sure I had enough about a small golf ball size
Push into the cupcake mold/tray and flatten slightly while pushing it up the sides a little. It only needs to be a little bit so don’t get too worried if its not going far up
Add 1tbs of passata mix, a slice of chopped salami, some mozzarella to cover and repeat until done
Bake in the oven for 15-20 mins until the cheese is al melted and golden brown

@_ashleysplace_ These were delicious 😋 Winter Warmers Day 6: Cheats Mini Pizza Bites I used the pizza dough pack from the supermarket just to try for a cheats version and I’d definitely say it’s a little stickier than normal pizza dough but I find that each time I use it but it works just well I also found it easier to put these in my reusable cupcake moulds from @bakeitbygiovannellis too I tested some in the moulds some in the tin with butter. But when I make them again I’d put it in cupcake moulds instead How to make them: 🍕 Let your dough ball come to room temp follow the instructions on the pack 🍕 Mix about 160g of passata with 1/2 tsp of oregano, 1/4 tsp of garlic powder and 1/4 tsp of onion powder with a squeeze of lemon juice, a sprig of rosemary and a dash of salt & pepper to taste 🍕 Grated about 1 cup of mozzarella 🍕 Chop about 12 pieces of Salami 🍕 if your not using cupcake liners then melt 1tbs of butter till just melted add a sprig of rosemary & some garlic skip if your using the cupcake liners 🍕 preheat oven to 180c 🍕 to assemble I rolled 12 pieces of dough into small balls first to make sure I had enough about a small golf ball size 🍕 push into the cupcake mould/tray and flatten slightly whike pushing it up the sides a little. It only needs to be a little bit so don’t get too worried if its not going far up 🍕 Add 1tbs of passata mix, a slice of chopped salami, some mozzarella to cover and repeat until done 🍕 Bake in the oven for 15-20 mins until the cheese is al melted amd golden brown And enjoy, you can customise this to be whatever flavours you like if you don’t like salami just take it off and do cheese or ham #ashleysplace #ashleysplacetips #cookingtips #cookingtricks #easyrecipes #recipeideas #recipeidea #homecooking #easyrecipesathome #easycooking #winterrecipes #recipesforfamilies #easyfamilyrecipes #familycooking #camdennsw #lovelocalcamden #macarthur #lovelocalmacarthur #pizzabites #cookingtok #foodtok #bakingtok #recipetok #recipesoftiktok ♬ original sound - Ashleys Place
Recipe Note
- You can use homemade dough for this as well, the dough balls are a little sticky to use compared to homemade dough I find. But for a quick and easy version they work great
- If you find your dough is falling too much do 1 at a time, so push it in, add the sauce, cheese etc at once then go to the next one
- You can just make a cheese or even cheese & ham if you don't like salami
