I know Brussel Sprouts can get a bad wrap but just give them a try baked this way, trust me it's delicious. Oven-baked Brussels sprouts tossed with garlic and parmesan for a crunchy, flavour-packed side dish that’s quick, easy and seriously delicious.
Ingredients
-
500g of Brussel sprouts
-
2 tbsp plus 2 tsp of Olive Oil
-
½ tsp Garlic Powder
-
½ tsp of Onion Powder
-
1 tsp Italian Herbs
-
½ cup Parmesan Cheese
-
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 180°C
Give your brussels a wash and cut the little base off the sprouts & then cut them in half
Then add your 2 tbsp of olive oil, herbs and Parmesan then give it a good shake around
Pop the brussels on a baking paper lined baking sheet pop them to one side then pour the Parmesan that is left in the bowl over the baking sheet together in a rectangle or square, you don’t need to be super precise it just needs to be spread over the base so you can put the brussels on top
Then pop the brussels on top cut side down covering the Parmesan cheese. This is how we get those crispy bottoms on the sprouts
Bake away for about 30 mins until baked and crispy on the outside. If you find your sprouts are going a bit too dark and still need more time you can cover them with foil. But mine was ok it will just depend on your oven as they all cook differently

I pop them all close together so the cheese doesn’t burn. And spray a little more olive oil on top 🎄 Bake away for about 30 mins until baked and crispy on the outside And enjoy, these are best eaten hot and fresh Save this for Christmas and follow @_ashleysplace_ for more christmas recipes #ashleysplacerecipes #lovelocalcamden #lovelocalmacarthur #easyrecipes #ashleysplacetips #homecooking #brusselsprouts #sidedish #christmas #christmasfood #brussel #brusselsprout #bakedbrusselsprouts #christmasdish #christmasmenu #christmasdinner #christmastime #recipe #christmasrecipes #recipes #foodblog #foodblogger ♬ original sound - Ashleys Place
