Such an easy and delicious snack to make with minimal ingredients.
Ingredients
-
1 Piece of puff pastry
-
1-2 Tsp of Butter
-
2 Tsp of Cinnamon Sugar
Directions
- preheat oven to 180c
Get your butter and puff pastry out to sit for a couple of minutes to soften up the pastry doesn’t take long and I just used my @mainlandnz butter
Spread a layer of butter on top of the pastry as even as you can but it doesn’t need to be perfect
Then add about 2 good tsps of cinnamon sugar and sprinkle it all over the top of the puff pastry
Cut into strips and either fold 1 piece over the top of another to make a long one or fold 1 piece in half to make small ones
Twist as much as you like and then leave them or you can do what I did and join it together to make it a circle for something a bit different
Pop a little more cinnamon sugar on top and bake in the oven on baking paper & a tray for about 15 mins or until golden brown

Recipe Note
- This is a great one for school snacks as they can be eaten warm or cold
- If you don't have cinnamon sugar you can easily make it by mixed a little bit of cinnamon with caster sugar
