No Bake Nut Bar

Ingredients

  • 130g Oats

  • 120g Sliced Almonds

  • 85g Choc Chips

  • ½ tsp of Cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp of Salt

  • 80g Honey

  • 210g of Smooth Natural Peanut/Nut butter (No added sugar or salt)

  • 1tsp Vanilla Essence

Directions

  1. Line a 9inch baking dish with baking paper or tray one that has at least a 1cm side I use my brownie tin or my glass square container

  2. Add all your ingredients into the bowl I add the dry first and then the wet

  3. Give it a really good mix around until all your ingredients are combined well you might need a little elbow grease to mix it in

  4. Pour your mixture into the tray and spread it out using your spatula or even the back of a metal spoon would work, you can use your hands if you find it easier

  5. You want to push it down quite well so it sticks together using the spatula or the back of the spoon. Press down all over including the edges so it sticks together. You can push firmly it will be fine

  6. Pop into the fridge for a minimum 4 hours overnight works best

  7. Then using a sharp knife cut into slices/bars or even smaller pieces, it’s pretty filling so smaller bars are good too. It makes 10 bars

  8. Store in the fridge or freezer in an airtight container or individual bags for a easy snack. The fridge will last about 2 weeks and in the freezer for up to 2 months. See notes for storage tips
