An Aussie classic for Christmas with a bit of a twist of homemade dipping sauce with yogurt and siracha. This is absolutely delicious and goes so well together.
Ingredients
-
π€ 48 Prawns peeled & deveined - I used frozen from Aldi & let them defrost
- π€ 16 Skewers you can use metal if you have them
- π€ 1 tsp garlic powder, onion powder, sweet paprika & italian herbs
-
π€ 1 cup of Greek Yogurt use your fav brand
-
π€ 1 -1.5 tsp of siracha I used Marionβs Kitchen coconut siracha
-
π€ 3 lemons
Directions
π€ Pat dry your prawns to dry them a but especially if they have been defrosting. Add your prawns to the skewers in start with the thicker side going through first
π€ Add 3 to a skewer or as many as yours fits mine only fits 3 as they are not huge and I prefer them not too big
- π€ I added a little oil first then the herbs on both sides
π€ Then into a hot pan or BBQ (BBQ is delicious) but a pan is totally fine too. Flip them half way mine took about 7 mins to cook through, this will depend on the size and heat of your pan
π€While its cooking make your dipping sauce, add your yogurt, siracha & Β½ of the lemon to a bowl & mix well until incorporated
π€ Serve and enjoy straight away with a wedge of lemon

Recipe Note
- You can use fresh or frozen prawns whatever you have or like is perfect
- If you don't want this too spicy you can add a tsp of siracha taste and add more, you can add more in but can't take it away so start small if needed
